Mid-Century Modern Home

Every year at Dancer is celebrated with a new yearly theme, and one of our past themes was “Create over Consume”.  Part of the meaning of that theme touches on our role in refurbishing and restoring older buildings and homes, often in a way that honors the original design intentions.  It’s an honor and a responsibility to help transform these older spaces into functional, modern living and working areas with timeless flooring options.  Polishing concrete is a craft that uses materials already in place – the concrete slab that’s been hidden under carpeting, vinyl, and tile flooring for decades – and making it an intentional function of design.  When the owners of this beautiful, Mid-Century Modern ranch wanted to restore their home to its former glory, we were excited to take part in the transformation.  Our Modern and Classic StrongTread polish options were great fits for this restoration, as they offer a timeless beauty along with durability that ensures this showpiece home will exist for generations into the future along with our crafted floor.
